Over 50 people, and their family dogs, got together on 28 December to brave the wintry conditions and walk off the excesses of Christmas. The group enjoyed a scenic 3 mile route stopping off at a local farmhouse for hot food and refreshments. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the walkers and everyone who sponsored a walker – we raised almost £1000 which is a great achievement.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop and chat plus giving Alfie and Jasmine a lovely warm cuddle, it all contributes to making our day even more enjoyable. Once again, many thanks from all at Forest Dog Rescue.

Forest Dog Rescue would like to thank Oliver Thornton, currently starring in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, for his generous donation which has enabled us to purchase our own van to transport dogs to and from the pound and the vets. It will made a huge difference to the running of the rescue and in recognition of Oliver's support we have named the van, "Priscilla".
